Kalyanpur South Impression Welfare Association (KSIWFA) is a registered non-governmental organization committed to promoting inclusive and sustainable development through community-based initiatives. Since its inception, KSIWFA has worked with government departments, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, corporate partners, and local communities to address social challenges and improve the quality of life for marginalized populations.
Our organization focuses on empowering women, enhancing skills, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting education, improving public health, encouraging environmental conservation, preserving traditional crafts, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Our Journey
Over the years, KSIWFA has evolved from a community-based welfare organization into a trusted development partner known for delivering impactful social initiatives. What began with a commitment to support local communities has grown into a multi-sector organization implementing programs in education, healthcare, women empowerment, agriculture, environmental awareness, youth development, and rural livelihood promotion.

For over a decade, Kalyanpur South Impression Welfare Association (KSIWFA) has been dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged individuals and building stronger, more inclusive communities across West Bengal. Established with a vision of social justice, equality, and sustainable development, KSIWFA works tirelessly to empower women, educate youth, improve healthcare, promote environmental responsibility, and create livelihood opportunities for vulnerable communities.

Founded by Mr. Biswajit De, KSIWFA was created with the vision of transforming communities through education, skill development, entrepreneurship, healthcare, environmental awareness, and women’s economic empowerment. Recognizing the untapped potential of rural women and traditional artisans, the organization began by providing training in handicrafts and handmade jewelry before gradually expanding into a comprehensive community development organization serving multiple sectors.
Over the past ten years, KSIWFA has grown into a respected grassroots organization known for its transparent governance, community-centered approach, and sustainable development initiatives. Through close collaboration with local communities, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), government departments, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, volunteers, CSR partners, and development organizations, we have implemented numerous programs that create lasting social and economic impact.

KSIWFA believes that empowering one woman empowers an entire family, and empowering families creates stronger communities. Our integrated development approach combines education, vocational training, financial inclusion, healthcare access, entrepreneurship support, and market linkages to help individuals become self-reliant and economically independent.
During the last ten years, KSIWFA has organized numerous training programs, awareness campaigns, healthcare camps, livelihood initiatives, cultural events, environmental campaigns, and community development activities. Thousands of women have been equipped with practical skills to establish home-based businesses and micro-enterprises, preserving traditional Indian craftsmanship while generating sustainable incomes. The organization has also played a significant role in forming and strengthening Self-Help Groups, enabling women to access financial resources, build leadership skills, and improve their families’ quality of life.
As of 2025, the demand for KSIWFA’s services continues to grow. More than 5,000 women, youth, artisans, senior citizens, and vulnerable families are currently awaiting support through our healthcare initiatives, vocational training programs, livelihood development projects, rehabilitation services, education support, and community welfare activities. To date, KSIWFA has directly and indirectly benefited over 15,000 people across local communities through its integrated development programs and outreach initiatives. These numbers reflect both the impact achieved and the continuing need for expanded support and partnerships.
Looking ahead, KSIWFA is committed to establishing several landmark community development projects, including a Community Hospital, Nursing Training Centre, Skill Development Centre, Agriculture Training Centre, Fisheries & Hatchery Development Project, Yoga & Wellness Training Centre, Rehabilitation Centre, Old Age Home, Children’s Home, Girls’ Home, and renewable energy initiatives focused on solarization and climate resilience. These projects aim to address the evolving needs of society while creating long-term opportunities for health, education, employment, and sustainable development.
